Want a chance to win a session with these fabulous photographers?

If you live in the Charlotte area and want to win a free photography session, click on the link below to find out how to enter the contest.

FYI, my sister Aime took her engagement pictures with them.   They are extremely talented photographers and they had so much fun with them.  Click here to see some of their pics.  They loved them so much that our brother Chris also took his engagement pictures with them!  How great is that?  To see more of their work, go to their facebook business page at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Jere-Ashley-Dotten-Photographers/110830975651129 and their website http://www.jereandashleydotten.com.

Another bit of information, makeup and hair done by Aime and Dee for both Aime and our future sister-in-law.  hehe. ;-)

Have fun ladies! Till next time!

Nail polish faves

Hey girls!  So sorry we haven't updated this blog in a while!  We've been super busy!  Aime's wedding is coming up and you know how busy planning a wedding can be.  As the proud maid of honor, I've been running around with my sister and having so much fun doing it.  So we will try and update this blog as often as we can.

Anyway, I wanted to write about my favorite nail polish base coat and top coat.  I always thought that the expensive nail polishes are the ones that last the longest.  I dont own any really expensive nail polish except for one from Sephora by OPI and one China Glaze.  All my other nail polishes are from Walmart called PURE ICE that costs no more than $2 (OMG I love them all) and from Walgreens called Sinful Colors that cost $1.99.  I also have a few from other drugstores.  The point is that you can buy "cheap" nail polish that can last 5-7 days!  The key is to have a really good base coat and top coat.  Believe me!  I've tried this out for so long and it works!

I always use Original OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener as a base coat and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

One bottle of each usually lasts me about a year and I change my nail polish every week.  I have bought the nail envy at Ulta for about $16 and the top coat at Sally's beauty supply but I think they sell it also at CVS for about $8.  BUT I know they sell them on amazon or any other online store for half the price.  If you have been looking for a good base coat and top coat, this is the magic pair!  Try it out and let us know what you think!

Thanks for reading!
